PinkXBlack

So, here's the latest addition to my wardrobe. :D Of course, it was made by me.~ xD
I got the fabric from an Etsy store based in Japan. I ordered two designs, two yards each. I just can't resist the charm of these cute fabric!~

Really nice print ^_^
And I remember, it took almost a month before these arrived at my doorstep. >_< I contacted the seller, hoping she could give me a tracking number. She did. She was very cooperative and very accommodating. I feel bad bothering her about it since I chose the non-insured shipping. When the package arrived, I asked the courier why and what happened. He explained the loooong process of sorting out all the mails and parcels in the office. He also said that these kinds of parcels would have to wait for other items to arrive which were to be delivered in the same area as mine. So, I guess that's the way it is. The process and the looong wait can really piss you off. Pffft! I'm really thankful that the seller was really nice and patient with me.

Anyhoo, here's what I came up with...

First time in Pink. xD

Notice the buttons? They're BOWS, too!~

I love making the collars of this dress!~ Quite easy. ^_^

The back part of the skirt. Huge BOW is huge!~ @_@

And the matching accessories!~ Headband, beret and hair/shoe clips!

BTW, the fabric is made of 100% cotton. Great for humid days. xD

If  I am to rate my experience with this seller, I'd give her 4 stars for the service, the quality of the item, and her patience. I'll definitely purchase from her again and I hope it's soon. ^_^
Here's the link to her shop if in case you are interested to buy some fabric:

I am currently working on the yellow fabric. I hope I can finish my project soon so I can share it here too. ^_^
Thanks for reading!~ ^_^

Bows and more bows

Still remember my post about my first Etsy purchase? With the help of my dear teacher, it ended up like this:

I added some details and made some accessories. It was really stressful for me since I had to work on other important things recently and that I had no time to sew. :(

And the accessories...

shoe clips!~
Yesterday, we had a shoot with a friend. I think she's going to use the photos for a magazine article. I'm going to wait for the photos so I can share them here. Good thing Jaja took some snapshots and emailed them to me today. But I'll blog about them laterrr...

Meanwhile, here's a snap of my shoes...

I'm sure I'll be seeing you later... ^_^

Lolita Highlight: Coruscate Unique from Indonesia

Aside from shopping, another fun thing to do in Etsy is to meet people whom has the same interest as yours. It was indeed surprising to find out that there were a lot of Lolita related stuffs to find in there. And they are limitless!~ From kawaii fabrics to the daintiest ribbons and cutest buttons can all be found there!

I am fortunate to meet one fellow Lolita based in Indonesia. Her name is Zu and she's the shop owner of Coruscate Unique. I soo adore her creations! ♥ Very detailed and unique!
Her shop offers a lot of Lolita stuffs and one thing that caught my attention is this:

Elegant Black Shoes - HANDMADE!~
Aaaaw... Heaven knows I am crazy for shoes and this one's got to be in my rack someday!

Oh well! Just like her creations, Zu is an adorable person too! Very friendly and humble not to mention that she's a very talented designer. Yes!~ She makes the dresses herself! Isn't that awesomeness to the core?!

You might want to check these dresses too---

Go visit her Etsy shop here.

And speaking of awesomeness, she also made this dress for an Indonesian female singer, Vicky Shu.

OMG!~

Oh! By the way, did I mention that she offers her stuffs for a very reasonable price? Yes, she does!

So, for all the girls out there who loves handmade stuffs, check out her listings in Etsy and her Fan page on Facebook right here. Who knows? You might find your dream dress in her shop... :)

Fabric = Love!

This is what I got in the mail today...

nyuuu!~ ♥
I ordered 2 yards of this fabric from an Etsy seller based in Taiwan. Her shop link is here. Visit her shop and you will be amazed with all her fine fabric which are reasonably priced too!~ The shipping was okay. She said she shipped out my order June 24 and I got them today, July 7... She's very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely buy from her again SOON! :)

Now, I'm planning well what to do with it, since I only got 2 yards. I have to be very careful in choosing between a JSK or a dress...

Will you help me? :)
